LEVEL 1: THE CALL OF THE DRUMS
A pale-faced stranger stumbles through a dense, rugged jungle. Continuing to fall, she finally stopped and, before losing consciousness, muttered “Oh, Jesse, how did you manage to end up here... if only I had never found that damn game console.. .”
You wake up with a start. Apparently you dozed off in the middle of Mr. Collins' math class. It’s strange, this dream seemed so real! The woman in the dream had muttered something about Jesse.
Jesse, your old classmate and friend who mysteriously disappeared a year ago.
You tell your friends about your dream. To your surprise, you realize that you all had the exact same dream! It must have been some kind of vision. One of you says, "Before he disappeared, Jesse told me about a mysterious gaming console and a game called Jumanji. That must be what the woman was talking about! I bet if we find that console, we’ll be able to figure out what happened to Jesse!”
“The game console is probably sitting in Jesse's old room...and the new owner of Jesse's old house plans to destroy it in exactly an hour."
LEVEL 2: SEARCHING FOR JESSE
Boom! You fall from the sky and land in some sort of jungle. What is this? It took you a while to realize that you and your friends are stuck in a video game! As if that wasn't enough, it feels like you're in someone else's body.
After a few minutes, you understand that you have become one of the characters in the game! It’s the strangest thing in the world! Suddenly, a revelation pops into your head. This must have happened to your friend Jesse.
If so, Jesse must be somewhere in this strange place...
Looking around you find a note hanging on a tree. It was written by Alan Parrish. According to this note, Jesse was bitten by a snake a few minutes ago and needs to receive an antidote as quickly as possible.
Even if Jesse is in a place cold enough to slow the venom, the antidote should still be given to him within four hours of the sting. Alan explains that he keeps the antidote in his secret cabin in the woods and has left clues to help you find it.
You look at your watch and see that it's already 1 a.m. That means there are only 60 minutes left to find the antidote and bring it to Jesse!
LEVEL 3: BREAK THE CURSE
You managed to find Jesse at the end of the tunnels. Jesse is still breathing but she is barely conscious.
You quickly administer the antidote and after a little while, Jesse regains his senses enough to be able to speak. "You will be able to return to the real world once the curse of Jumanji is broken and once you have shouted "Jumanjiiii!!!" a certain number of times."
“To break the curse, you will need the green gem that is in my pocket.”
Jesse explains that the curse can be broken when the Emerald Moon appears in the sky; even if it only happens once every 10 years. Luckily, this event is planned for tonight! In exactly one hour, the Emerald Moon will reach the ideal position to break the curse. Hurry up...or you'll have to wait another decade.
“I’m sorry guys,” Jesse said, “I don’t have enough strength to go with you. Come back for me once you break the curse. Hurry up!" You head deep into the Dangerous Jungle to begin your journey to where you can break the curse. When suddenly, a small monkey jumps on your backpack and runs away with something green in its hand. You then realize that this pilferer has stolen the jewel! You try to chase him and you come face to face with five dangerous animals. You hope that your three lives will be enough...
