  1. Eligibility: The contest is open to legal residents of Canada who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees, agents, and representatives of Fêtes et Ballounes, as well as their immediate family members, are not eligible to participate in the contest.

  2. Participation: To participate, entrants must like and comment on the contest post on the official Fêtes et Ballounes Facebook page. Share this post with your friends so they can take part in the contest too. Entrants can also increase their chances of winning by visiting the store and purchasing fireworks. Each $25 pre-tax purchase entitles them to one free entry. For example, a purchase of one or more fireworks valued at $48 before tax will earn you one free entry, while a purchase of one or more fireworks valued at $55 before tax will earn you 2 free entries.

  3. Contest Period: The contest begins on April 29, 2024, at noon and ends on June 20, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. (the “Contest Period”).

  4. Winner Selection: One (1) winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received during the Contest Period. The winner will be contacted by private message on Facebook within 5 days following the end of the contest. If the first winner did not make an in-store purchase and is not eligible to win the Gourmet du Village BBQ Party Set, a second winner will be selected at random from among the other eligible entrants, and so on until an eligible winner is found.

  5. Prize: The contest prize includes one Treasure Chest fireworks box valued at $114.99 and one BEM Pro Medley series fireworks box valued at $89.99. The prizes cannot be exchanged for cash. They are subject to availability and may be modified at the discretion of Fêtes et Ballounes. No prize substitution or transfer is permitted. The prizes must be claimed in person at the Fêtes et Ballounes store in Rimouski. In addition, for in-store fireworks purchases, each $25 pre-tax purchase also provides one chance to win a Gourmet du Village BBQ Party Set.

  6. Contest Modification or Cancellation: Fêtes et Ballounes reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the contest, in whole or in part, at any time and without notice, for any reason whatsoever, including, without limitation, in the event of fraud, technical failure, or any other cause beyond the control of Fêtes et Ballounes that compromises or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the contest.

  7. Acceptance of the Rules: Participation in the contest constitutes full and unconditional acceptance of these rules and the decisions of Fêtes et Ballounes, which are final and binding on all entrants.
